I don’t do well in friendships with people who think they own me. I don’t think it’s funny or cute when folks try to control who I spend my time with. Don’t make slick comments about my “other friends”.. and don’t be weird about me making new friends. It’s annoying when ppl make it a “who’s known me longer competition” .. that’s corny to me. Or make comparisons about everything. All of my friends serve their purpose in MY LIFE and I love them for that.. But, that’s for ME to understand. I feel like when ppl get weird with me about my “other friends” they’re not really my friend. They just like the idea of being my friend and seeing someone else being mt friend sparks a jealousy that eventually ENDS our friendship.

At the end of the day I have one BEST friend, and I’ve had her for almost 18 years so everybody really MY OTHER FRIENDS.. if we being honest. And she don’t even act weird so everybody else should just RELAX.. lol fr.
